What you're actually paying for
Pricing FAQ
Is there a subscription?
No. The Full Analysis is a one-off purchase per report. You pay €4.99, get the report, and that's it. No recurring charge, no membership, no auto-renewal.
What payment methods are supported?
Card payments are processed by Stripe — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and most European debit cards. Currency is EUR. You'll see the charge on your statement as AUTOFINDR.
What if there's a technical problem with the report?
We refund or re-issue. If the report fails to generate, is empty, references the wrong car, or never reaches your inbox, email refunds@autofindr.net and we'll either re-issue the correct report at no cost or refund you in full. See the Refund Policy for the full list of refund-eligible scenarios. Note: under EU Article 16(m) the standard 14-day withdrawal right is waived at checkout — that's a regulatory choice that lets us deliver the report immediately, and you confirm it at the Stripe checkout page. So we don't refund "changed-my-mind" purchases, but we DO refund technical/data errors on our side.
Why €4.99? What does it actually cost you?
Each Full Analysis report is generated by a large language model with substantial token costs (≈€0.30 per report) and is grounded in our reliability + issue database (built over a year). €4.99 is the lowest sustainable price; it covers cost, hosting, and the editorial work that keeps the database accurate.
Can I see a sample report before paying?
Yes — the free Analyzer covers the same data sources but with 4 risk vectors instead of 8. If the free verdict for your specific car already gives you what you need, you don't need the paid one.
Do you sell my data, take affiliate cuts, or get paid by dealers?
No on all three. We do NOT sell personal data, do NOT take commission on cars you buy, and do NOT accept payment from dealers, manufacturers, or marketplaces in exchange for ranking. The composite reliability score is computed from external public-data sources (TÜV, ADAC, NHTSA, MOT). The carVertical VIN-check integration is the one paid partner relationship and it's clearly labelled.
What about EU VAT?
Prices shown include EU VAT where applicable. Stripe handles VAT collection and remittance per EU regulations. You'll receive a tax-compliant invoice via email automatically.
Will the price change?
Our intent is to keep it at €4.99 for the foreseeable future. If we ever change pricing, existing purchases remain unaffected — only new reports are priced at the new rate.
Still on the fence?
The free Analyzer gives you the same data sources, the same composite score, and the same fair-price band. The paid tier just goes deeper. Try free first — most people never need more than that.
